On July 4, 1776, the United States declared their Independence as a New Nation with the signing of the Declaration of Independence and was no longer part of the British Empire. It's hard to believe that 240 years have passed as we continue the celebrations year after year after year.
Independence Day is a National Holiday that allows us to show our patriotism for our country and enjoy the festivities throughout the day. Whether you're attending a hometown parade, grilling hamburgers/hotdogs with family/friends, and enjoying fireworks displays at different venues across each city, July 4th allows us to come together as a Nation and reflect on what Independence means to each of us.
What kind of celebrations do you enjoy on this day?
